My boyfriend and I have been together for pretty much nine months now and we’ve had our problems along the way. I’m gay through and through, while he’s always admitted he probably prefers girls. I’m a largely insecure person so that was always a bit of an issue but I came to terms with it eventually. We were best friends for two years before anything happened between us so we were pretty close already.

However recently he admitted to me he’s getting bored of me. I’ve read all the advice about how you should try different things and I know for a fact I probably smother him too much. Everytime he checks his phone he’ll have three or four texts from me, three or four missed calls.

My question: is it actually possible to save a relationship when one person is bored? He told me he doesn’t think it’ll get better but that he wants to fight for our relationship, but I’m not sure I want to fight if I’m just delaying the inevitable. Would giving him the space make the relationship work?

i have a girlfriend. It’s long-distance relationship.
We have been together for a long time, i love her so much.
i know i have been overprotected to her since she nearly had an affair during new years, but thank God at that time my relationship was saved But then I became scared, What if she does it again ?

This week she told me that she wants a break from me because she thinks i cant give her my trust anymore. It means that we should not talk/chat for a while. i already begged her to forgive me and promised not to do it again but she won’t forgive me until the day she wants to come back. But i’m not sure that she will come back to me soon or maybe she is just giving me a fake hope.

Her friends keep telling me that she still love me but she needs time.
But i dont think so because when i call her, her way of talking is kind of harsh, like she hates me.

I just want to ask if she’s just giving me false hope or if she really needs time.
And how 2 save this relationship.

I have been with the same girl for 3 years and up until about 3 months ago have mainly been hanging out with each other and occasionally other friends. Before she met me she was a smoker and a partier, but dramatically calmed down because of me, as I am not into that stuff. Now, she has begun hangin out with other friends that she has met and is back into that partying lifestyle. About 2 months ago she got drunk and cheated on me and things have been going downhill ever since. She continued to communicate with that same individual that she cheated on me with, and of course I would get angry about it. Eventually, I forgave her and tried to get on with our relationship. Now she wants space and does not want to communicate or hang out with me. I know she is hanging out with the other guy, as a friend while she is out with other friends. Obviously, I am devastated and feel helpless. What steps should I take from here? because I would really like to save our relationship

Well I have a a boyfriend and he’s the greatest, I’m not asking because of him. I’m asking because of me. l hate being in a relationship, I feel like my freedom is restricted even though my boyfriend is about the most lax guy in the world. He does every thing right and is not only my boyfriend but my best friend. But I hate not being able to flirt with guys like at the pool, and stuff like that. It just doesn’t feel right. I don’t know if I should break up or not. I’ve heard a couple people say negative things on this, the thing is I would love to dump him, but every time I try he says something like, I love you, or, you’re the greatest, and I really don’t want to break his heart. He’s just not the same guy he was in the school year

I was convinced that my boyfrind had gone away for a few days with his ex. I snooped all the evidence led me to same conclusion. He has made me feel very insecure about his long term ex eg. she doesn’t know about me, he avoids places she frequents, he still has pictures of her on his pc in a rotating slide show at home. To his credit he says he loves me and spends most of his spare time with me

However i did the unthinkable on the weekend asked a male friend to call her house and ask for him – that’s where i got caught he pretended to be his best friend (HOW STUPID OF ME and out of character) It turns out they weren’t away together.

Now my boyfriend is really angry with me and won’t talk to me (and rightly so). i have sent a couple of sms stating how in the wrong i was and that i was in a desperate situation and i panicked…he sent me an sms please don’t worry..

I am not sure how to handle the situation when we get together to talk. i want to save this relationship
it was obvious his best friend wouldn’t call his ex girflriend – he obviously asked him if he called and he said no.

basically he said he was going away for work and when i called his office to get his mobil as i had left mine at home they tolf me he was on leave – i then snooped to find his ex’s work and home phones – she was also away on leave for the same days. that’s what led me to the stupid conclusion they were together i freaked

I really want to save my relationship with my boyfriend but I am concerned that to much has been done and said on both of our parts for it to saved. We have each made mistakes and hurt the other person. He admitted last night that he has hurt me more severely and more often then I have hurt him and apologized for it. I really concerned that he has pushed me away for so long that that we may not ever get back to the way things were.
